Home Alone

Brian is on a plane home from Utah right now... he's been gone since Sunday so I've had full reign of the house. I'm posting this message while taking a break from frantically cleaning up my mess...

While I did have a good, full week, I sure missed him. Being home alone is fun for a little bit, but I feel better with Brian's company.

It seems like a distant memory at this point, but I've finally gotten around to posting my vacation pictures. On July 27th, Brian and I drove down to his parents' house just south of Charlotte. We stayed with them for 3 nights and then drove to Charleston - Brian's favorite place. He got to show me around as we filled our days with touristy activities. It was a great trip and I can't wait to go back.

We stayed in Charleston until Friday when we drove back to his parents house. Friday night we met up with some of his high school friends for their pre-reunion reunion at a local bar. Saturday night was his 10 year high school reunion at the Home Run Cafe in Knight's Stadium where the minor league baseball team plays. I'm glad I was able to go and meet his old buddies... and now I'll be able to drag him to mine next year.
