The Wave

Good news! Our plant has grown! It's completely out of control and has filled the entire pot.
Originally, we had 2 small azalea bushes in there with this little petunia, but our neighbor's football landed right on one of the bushes and snapped it off. Instead, I got liriope to take its place. Turns out, I didn't have to get anything because the petunia would have been plenty by itself! This type is called The Wave... maybe because it acts like a tsunami and overtakes everything in its path.

Beautiful! I love petunias and pansies-you barely have to do anything and they thrive. I have pansies in my window boxes that I put in in February!
Miss you guys! I hope you are surviving the heat wave and enjoying Baltimore.

What a gorgeous plant! Petunias are awesome. They just grow. I have to post a pic of my "Double Wave" petunia. It has spiffy ruffly flowers.
